If you have a spare few minutes you can read my latest blog about JET. It's basically his Bristol City diary to date. http://shinycitylad.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/theres-something-about-jay.html please log in to view this image
He's a strange one. He plays with a maturity that you tend to see from players at the peak of their careers, yet he's quite young, and has a history of failure in the Championship. He was an exciting signing, but there were more than a few Ipswich fans saying that it would all end in tears. I remember when we played Rovers. Some of the guys at work watched the match and while they enjoyed it, they said that JET was far too good a player to be in League 1, and was far too good for us. He's clearly enjoying his football under SOD, and it wouldn't surprise me if JET's form is what is keeping SOD in a job. JET is without a doubt our best player at the moment, and if it's SOD that's keeping him in form then it'd be stupid to sack him. If JET keeps improving with us and is happy to play at a struggling club I reckon he's future captain material. However, I can't help but think that he knows just how good he is at this level, and that he'll probably be gone in the summer.
Different class end off. He has a manager that believes in him, that is a big big carrot,i know for a fact he came here bacause of SOD
He is a class act when he's in the mood I am still concerned by the fact that when JET doesnt play well then nor do we as a team. We could do with another or two like him for when one or more isn't in the mood !
From what I've seen of him, I reckon Wynter could be another star for the team. For someone that had played no first-team football before he is fantastic at this level. It's a shame that he's only played three games this season because if I were SOD I'd play him all the time if he is available. Wynter and JET are my favourite SOD signings, without a doubt.
