Who reckons Mignolet would've been sent off for the foul Hart committed today? Ba was 8 yards out at the far post with an open goal and not even a yellow card? Definite goal scoring opportunity and no card at all. Well done Andre Marriner (the ref that sent Michael Turner off for winning a header)!!

Its the rich that gets the pleasure,
It's the poor wot gets the blame,
It's the same the whole world over,

My worry is when you just know a Ref is going to make decisions based on guesswork.
And when they guess they always give the benefit to the "big" teams.
You can usually tell when they are going to even things up, after giving a decision against the "bigger" team.

Or unfathomable decisions like yesterday at Fulham Nzonzi got an accidental knock on the nose from Berba went looking for retribution and wacked Ruiz across the back of the head, the ref was only yards away, and nothing done about it? Saying that the ref looked from the highlights I saw, ignored forearm smashes and bad tackles all game.

I sad this a long time ago referees should be trained up from ex-pros who either don't make it or are forced out because of injury. ( I have a mate with knee problems that means he can't kick a ball but he still runs marathons.)
There are a hell of a lot of ex pros who have only ever played in the championship or lower and have no bias for any premiership team. Train them up and it also gives them a wage in the game for a few more years. Lets not forget the lower league players aren't on the stupid wages like in the Prem.

IF these ex players make mistakes reffing, at least they will be honest mistakes.

They talk about refs being policemen and school teachers etc. As if that brings some strange authority and trustworthiness, bollox, it brings biased refs with an over inflated feeling of their self importance.
