Can't see Fed-ex getting another Wimbledon title unless there is something up with Djokovic, in fact I think Murray has the edge on him nowadays, Federer is one of those who plays on just a little longer than they should do instead of going out right at the top

The thought of a threesome with Sharapova & Azarenka - stereophonic grunting & groaning, would do anyone's head in. I had to turn the sound off in both those matches today - just to protect the neighbours from having to answer questions from their young kids.

It was a bloody close 5 setter last year, Fed's playing well and he'll view going out at the top as holding the record for Wimbledon wins. That should be motivation enough. Djokovic isn't invincible yet, and Murray could bottle it. Who knows?

Murray has had a very easy run to the semi - highest seed he has played was 23rd

Had a bet on Murray, not even particularly a fan of his but he has enough in the locker to beat Federer nowadays. I know Gasquet has no chance against Djokovic in the other semi but 8-1 on offer sucked me into a little bet on him, too big odds

I think thats why they don't get it on, maybe the fella wanted to find out if Williams is as dominant at sexy-time as she is on the tennis court

Sharapova isn't mentally strong enough to defeat Serena, and I say that as a huge Sharapova fan. She's intimidated by her, simple as that. Serena resents the fact a 17-year-old beat her at Wimbledon 11 years ago and now she's punishing her for it for the rest of her career. Sharapova looked so mentally-composed all tournament but as soon as she faced Serena she **** herself and crumbled. Again.

Now, let us all enjoy Federer make Murray cry again tomorrow.

Did you hear McEnroe's story about his great mate Vitas Gerulitis just before this match started??

He said VG was facing Jimmy Connors in a Masters Tournament and finally beat him at the 17th attempt.
At the press conference afterwards they asked him how he did it?
"NOBODY beats Vitas Gerulitis 17 times on the bounce"!!! <laugh>

    Brilliant.

I just wish tennis commentators and the media drop all this bollocks about the supposed 'Williams-Sharapova rivalry'. It doesn't exist. It's about as apparent as the rivalry between hammer and nail, or the rivalry between the US and Russian economy. <whistle>

Serena has 20 slams. Maria has five and she's her closest rival, apparently. That to me suggests either Serena is in a league of her own, that women's tennis is in a pretty piss-poor, weak era or both.
