So the courts have decided that the punishment handed out by the SFA panel was illegal after all. Fair enough. If a court rules that then who can argue............................well FIFA and UEFA actually.
RFC have put these two organisations under the microscope and every football club in the world will be waiting to see what happens to any club which has the audacity to challenge national associations in the civil courts........... a breach of FIFA and UEFA rules.

It would be very niave to think that UEFA will not be watching closely the reaction of the SFA. Rfc could argue that they did not have time to go to the CAS, however almost certainly, UEFA will respond that it is the fault of no one else but rangers that they are in this predicament with little time left before they run out of cash.

I cannot see UEFA telling the SFA that they must use the sactions originally available to them............and that is expulsion from Scottish football. Is this what D&P wanted through the appeal to the civil courts, simply because they themselves could not really handle the Admin. They would not wish to have a CV which said that the whole case was a shambles.............easy way out...............blame UEFA and the SFA.

If the SFA do not expel rfc, then UEFA and FIFA could throw Scotland out of international football. Uefa could isolate rfc and impose a lengthy ban on European football for them, say 5 or more years.

Whatever happens UEFA and FIFA cannot be seen to lose face or to back down.

Rangers could have sharpened their own blae for Hari Kari.
