Are they villains or heroes? Should they have been banned for life? How do you think most Hammers will view the ban?
They deserve to be banned for life. Protesting is fine, it's the fans' right, but running onto the pitch is moronic.
I think they should be made to walk around in Spurs shirts for a month but I think they would take the life ban given the choice.
I don't agree with 'life' bans, is it even possible to strictly implement such a decision Home & Away without breaching someones human rights. #SocialCleansing #LifeBans
I hope this doesn't discourage the rest of their fans from surrounding the Dildo Brothers in their director's box, and baying for blood, on the 31st
Maybe the life ban is a bit severe but the ban should be a ****ing long one. The last thing any sane football fan wants to see is the return of idiots running onto the pitch. What were they hoping to achieve by running onto the pitch. Hurling abuse at the owners was a much more effective way of showing them that the fans are furious.
You only have to look at what has been happening to many clubs, and i accept as i have said in the past that supporters can be as much to blame. However, sometimes non violent extreme measures may be taken to get your voice heard. It is a democratic right to protest. I can't speak on an individual basis in regards to the West Ham incident without research, but i have always felt uncomfortable with bans for encrouchent of the pitch area. In some cases it is justified to ban but it should not be used as a tool to quell celebration or protest if the means are non violent. I know there are many forms of protest but many of them are just simply ignored. Personally i don't think 'life' bans are implementable after a short period of time, maybe a life ban is not a life ban in these cases but merely a use of words to serve a warning.
Stan - i forgot to add, also hurling abuse is an arrestable offence, we've had experience of supporters at my club being arrested for calling Evans a fat scottish ****er!
I seem to have been given life bans on both the Arsenal and ‘Pool boards for nothing more than some gentle wummery. I feel as though my Human Rights have been impeded. Any chance of sorting that out, mate?
