    Good Morning Everyone,

Ross McCormack has opened up a can of worms after unleashing an astonishing attacking on our Presidente...

During his interview, he insists :-

    i) His £11m move to Fulham was Massimo Cellino's decision.

ii) He did not refuse to turn up for training.

iii) Claims Cellino wanted him to leave.

iv) Cellino has tried to portray McCormack as forcing through Fulham move.

    v) McCormack says he was settled with his family in Leeds.

    Thoughts?

McCormack isn't the only person talking to the papers...

Ex Chief executive Shaun Harvey has been speaking to the Telegraph....

When asked about Leeds, Harvey said: “Leeds fans at this moment in time think Cellino is an improvement on what they've seen previously. “Ultimately all he has done is brought some financial stability to a situation, and signed 15 players. While fans may be wary, they are still there.’’

    Thoughts?

The new signings seem to be settling in nicely at Elland Road

Well, with no Leeds in action this is a bit dull in terms of football action. I honestly don't see the point of England games anymore. The national team s genuinely poor, and the last World Cup really highlighted the genuine lack of quality England now has available at the highest level.

For me the problem is the Prem and its greed. It's really obvious that young English players simply aren't given the chance to develop in the Prem anymore, and the same is happening with English managers. As long as the money flows everyone will continue to turn a blind eye.

Cellino really went mental in the transfer window, and Leeds were the most prolific club in the Championship with no less than 15 newcomers, and whisper it, that number came close to hitting 17 no less. Now that would have been interesting. I feel we genuinely have a squad that can compete at the sharp end of the division, we just need the right man in the dugout to organise the team and we'll start motoring.

On our young 'uns, I'd like to see them eased in and avoid burnout. One thing I've noticed is how they start to get off the pace in the last 20 minutes. In tight games this can cost us if too many young 'uns are thrown in together.

Redders starting to look a lot like the new man, but I still feel he should stay in the Academy where he has been very effective. I'd be mega fcuked off f Culverhouse got the job, but with Cellino you never know.

Nice to see Coventry back at their home ground last night, with 27,000 there to welcome them back. Makes you wonder why they don't get that number every week. Imagine how much better off they'd be with those gates on a regular basis. Football fans really have become "watch when we're winning" it seems.

Ross is a money grabbing liar with no loyalty even to his abandoned kid, so ain't going to be any different to an ex employer. I would only say that the bollocks in this story is exposed by pointing out how long has the house been for sale, the answer is, since December last year, when he tried to get out to the smoggies for ££££££s. Only stayed when bought off with a pay rise and captaincy, how many new deals did he demand in three years? 5!

We are well rid of this scumbag malcontent.

lol ... morning elland ... thought you were off so I started a boring weekend debate, oh well ... McContract no doubt has been told by Matt Smith what the mood amongst fans are regarding his move ... as for Socks Off, WTF does that statement even mean? I mean, "all he has done is bring financial stability and bought players" is saying what exactly? Oh, I get it, your thieving boss and yourself were actually not bad considering, erm ... Cellino making the club financially stable and bringing in young, hungry talent to replace the dross you oversaw is awesome work ... jeez, this Harvey really is a fool of the highest order

What does Harvey even mean with that comment? The one major thing we needed was financial stability and fresh new talent!! How is this a negative?

    Morning Glory,

I understand your argument, but when you piece together all pieces of the jigsaw, and read what people like Smith and Poleon have said, there are no doubts that we could have gone about our business in a better, and more professional matter.

No smoke without fire n all that

Will Harvey be the person awarding us our transfer embargo in January?

Harvey can fook off because all the time he was at the club, we had no financial stability. He also presided over his mate raping the accounts and selling our better players. Harvey and football administration, don't make me laugh, that's why he's now fooking up the FL as well.

Ross another one who can fook off because he looked after number one. I believe there is fact in what he says, but he has probably been very selective in what he says. £11m was big cash for an average player who had a lucky season.

Redders and Hart could make a great team and they both have the academy at heart? Redders and a strong coach like Jim Smith, Joe Jordan?

For me the most interesting thing I've read is from Phil Hay. he is convinced that Cellino has been shrewd, because he expects us to have a transfer embargo in January for breaking financial fair play rules. He has splashed out on more players now, so that he gets them developed in time for after Xmas. he has bought some young quality, who don't have it yet, but will in time. He expects a few clubs to fall foul of the rules and will be struggling whereas we will be in pole position to have a better last part of the season as some of the newbies make the breakthrough. Shrewd? It will only be a temporary blip (Rules) as the transfer cash generated came after the accounts deadline so go go into next years, which is all good.

too much power laid with over rated and over paid players.
One of the biggest problems in football and at LUFC in particular.
Glad we are doing something about it at last.

Not just the Prem Billy - you have a Championship club that is signing youngsters from places like Brazil, Paraguay, Italy, Switzerland, Senegal & Denmark when there are much much better youngsters already in this country. But you are signing them because they are much cheaper - a massive gamble by your Chairman <ok>

Good morning to Matt Billy Glory Neil and Shako etc from a wet yes wet Cote de Bardsey not drinking chilled wine in the garden today!
Ross Chippy had his house for sale before last season started and yesterday the removal vans were there but the for sale sign has disappeared perhaps he has rented it out to one of the 15 new signings I will keep an eye out
I believe we will have a new coach before the Brum game maybe as early as Tuesday my thoughts it could be anyone it will depend on how little they bare willing to accept
I totally agree with Billys sentiments re England and the state of the game
AS for us lets hope these young hungry players get up to speed and give us a lift and I wish Hunt Norris well with their new clubs

TC - with a possible transfer embargo in January, and the need to prevent continuing losses ( bearing in mind that Leeds have players on their books with very high wages, that they cannot ship out) I would suspect that Cellino has had his hands tied, so bringing in players from abroad on lower wages is a sensible move from a business point of view.

Whatever anyone thinks about Cellino and his methods, he is not a mug and nobodys fool.

Whether his methods translate into a winning team, only time will tell, but is besides the point, because he has stabilised the club financially and ensured its future.

Other clubs likely to breach FFP rules are Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Bournemouth, Nottingham Forest.
If Bolton do not improve very quickly they will be left behind at the bottom of the table with Blackpool, without being able to buy their way out of trouble and heading for oblivion, bearing in mind the massive amount of debt that they have..........at least Cellino has pre empted this scenario at Leeds.

However how he moves on the big wage earners will be interesting to see.....they won't move to another club on a lower wage and I am pretty sure that Cellino will not want to pay up their contracts .........so interesting times ahead

Suppose it will depend on how long the transfer embargo will be for?

Morning Mike, so it does rain in Bardsey!!!!

Fair play to Norris. He has gone about his business without making a fuss. Solid enough, not many mistakes, but won't get the world alight.
