I don't live up North but apparently the weather is pretty bad up there? Just wondering how you guys are planning to get down to the game and if you are thinking of staying put.

The police and weather people are saying to stay inside because of the strong winds and chance of snow. If the weather is severe and you are still planning to go to the game then I wish you good luck because the weather seems appauling. <ok>

Up here in Scotland we have been told not to drive by the local police and most places are shut down. I however am still at work and won't be getting away early. I think England will be hit with this tomorrow, the winds are unreal.

I wouldn't be surprised if we seen some postponements over the weekend.

  3. If I can avoid going outside, I will. I'm freezing my nipples off up here, I live right next to the coast in Cullercoats. :S

The waves are ****ing massive, some of them 30 feet high, but fortunately I'm about half a mile away from it.

However, when I'm walking along the coast, I see houses that look like they could get smashed up if the weather gets any worse.

There are houses that are built about 10 meters max away from the cliff edges. Erosion will I imagine force them to move out in a few years.

My husband just returned home fom Scotland this lunch time so I know it's been pretty bad, he's actually spent all this week sitting in is van as it's been to dangerous to go on the site due to high winds and sleet.

He's been at a Windfarm near Moffat. He works in several places in Scotland, mainly Glasgow, and Newton Stewart, the Windfarm thing is something new.

Slightly windy today here in Manc. Hailing like crazy and pissed it down earlier. Not as cold as previous days though. If it stayed dry I would've immediately thought snow.

Expect it to get windier in the next few days though, it's definitely picking up a fair bit. Not good when I can't afford the bloody bus fare anymore and have to walk everywhere!

Get yourself in the sea for a swim, it's warmer in the water than it is out of it.
