It was quite a surprise to see it so dry, and now at 1042 it still isnt raining, a quick look at the satellite picture and it does look gloomy for about 1515 hrs. Possible light showers from 1300 peak about 1515 to 1530, but having said that the promised satellite image for now was quite heavy rain which seems to have gone north and south of us. I think my rain cape WILL BE HANDY for this afternoon....when its on the only thing exposed is my face and I aint worried that will get wet.....hopefully not with tears...but then if it is tears...ones of joy! HAPPY NEW YEAR
IT WONT BE A CLEAN SHEET AS IT IS TOO MUDDY...........LOL CURRENTLY THE RAIN IS ON SCHEDULE FOR THE MATCH, QUITE possibly starting before 1345 and ends before the final whistle! ( satellite is currently showing it about Barnstable area and developing/ moving faster as it comes up the channel) HAPPY NEW YEAR

Yep the rain has arrived early, well the heavier stuff, it has caught up with the lighter due around 1300 which is good news as the match could be played in relatively light or no rain at all..rain band at the speed it is progressing should last about 2 hours plus odd bits foer an hour........... but still take your pak a mac just in case HAPPY NEW YEAR

That was some rain a concentrated blip that hit around the gate, some places 2 miles away only got a shower, the front well it just kept developing as it came up the channel no wonder the game was called off no amount of covers would have dealt with that...they could have postponed for 45 mins - an hour!? then maybe just maybe played the game...but I guess they thought it would just rain and rain and it didnt............. maybe thinking of the next game...got a few days to sort the pitch but looks like more rain could come our way
