    Fact
If we want to compete in the Championship race, with our lamentable youth set up, we will need serious foreign investment so we can go out and spend 10 million on a couple of real players

So we cant blame the manager, and we cant be surprised if we go down, because you get what you pay for and we are the Woolworths of Championship dealers. Our directors needed to think big when it mattered, and didn't, so now Div 1 beckons

With our buying policy over the past 5 years, do we really belong in the Championship ?
Yes, Bristol SHOULD have a Premier league team, but we are a club without serious investors. How can we compete with the Leicesters and West Hams of this world when our record signing cost as much as half those on the West Ham bench (which is where he currently lives).

Bright, the fact is we have spent big. Much more so than many other teams. On wages as well.

It's a matter of picking the right players and managing them correctly which has been our folly. Obviously a fair few clubs have spent big in the past few seasons, but many more haven't.
