Can't see MM letting Huds go. We've little enough cover at CB as it is.

Mason is a possibility if there is a recall clause. He's in the 25 and that can't change until January so wouldn't want to leave us short.

No way he'll let Hudson go as who would play if Turner or Caulker got injured? Connelly is behind the pecking order there.

As for Mason, he may let him go out.

Cant see him letting either of them go to be honest.

Funny how things change. Club captain and outstanding player of the season last year - this year, Huds is a squad bench sitter with little prospect of a Premier start.

Despite the odd wobble from Turner earlier on, the Caulker/Big Ben combo is fast becoming a fixture. There were calls on here a couple of weeks back for the partnership to be broken up and Huds reinstated. A few others including me said we should stick with the present pairing and demonstrate confidence that they'd get it sorted between them - thank God Malky did.

With Theo now on their right and an effective if not always brilliant Taylor on the other side and Medel in front of them, they present a solid back five. I realise the rest of the team contributed as well, but I reckon the performance against Spurs, although the result at the death was dissappointing, has set a benchmark for keeping it tight at the back.

However, even if Huds only gets a start because of injury or suspension, it would seem daft to let him go out on loan. Strangely enough though, I think Connolly is a far better CB than a RB and could push Huds for the replacement CB spot if needed, and although not in the "25", Lappin has also played there. (Could he be included as a replacement if Huds goes out on loan?)

You never know, as strange as it seems after last season, Huds could be yesterday's man.

Joe Mason needs game time so loan him with a recall clause.

Hudson stays we need the cover.

Hudson has to stay as cover. Brayford has proved he is not up to it.

A month loan would do Mason some good as long as he plays.

We still have the situation where Nugent is out on loan but not playing.

Looks like they've snapped up Kev. There will be some happy Bolton Wanderers female fans.

Why was he given a 2 year contract?
barely good enough for championship; certainly not good enough for PL.
    BOL though with Freedman<whistle>

Very disrespectful to a loyal City servant Nin. I would have loved to see the guy wear a City shirt just once in a Premiership game.

Kev was given a 12 month deal and he deserved it.

    A good signing for Bolton.

Id have no problem with Kev replacing Taylor.

Taylor is better on the ball , Kev has the pace.

I'm with you ITI, there are a couple blokes that have stuck with us and been good servants, getting us close on a number of times even when there was **** flying around all over the place off the field.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any room for sentiment. Maybe if we are safe by Christmas ( <whistle> ) a few of them will get a game.

Huds and Kev certainly deserve it.

I think Taylor reads the game very well too. The fact he is surviving at PL level proves that as his pace certainly doesn't save him.
