Right at its centre was community and fan engagement. Anybody seen even one image of the proposed development of Ashton Gate, anybody been asked what they think? Any fans consulted about placing children's swimming armbands on the club shirt? City are playing just one friendly at Ashton gate on a weekday and wanted to go to Botswanna, virtually no opportunity for engagement there.

Not got off to a good start.

I e-mailed Kevin Smith a couple of weeks ago to clarify in plain English, the press release about ticketing which was so full of jargon and bullshit. NO REPLY.

At least David Lloyd does reply promptly even if I don't agree with his comments sometimes.

My son thoroughly enjoyed attending a day's training with the community trust. That was the good.

I did send e mails to one of the fans parliament who answered quickly. However he was not able to answer the specific questions, and so referred me to Dave L .. No answer.

I wouldn't mind as much if the club were looking to move forward with marketing and improving the club to boost profit. I mean, that was the point of Ashton Vale.

The XI on last season's performances maybe should be sent out looking like they can't swim.

Been told those running the consultation, won't release pictures till the, err consultation is done ... That is all the proles need to know.

    Keep supportin your local team..

Could ping the club an e mail with a few points. This is all very much part of the sea of change the club have been painting.

Not exactly world leaders in communication at Ashton Gate are they? How difficult is it to get a very important part of the rebuild right, but then this has always been the problem with our club hasn't it?

Not saying I necessarily disagree with what you say however it is worth giving a moments thought about what the actual game plan might be...

The talk of redeveloping AG is in my mind a bit of a smoke screen, be in absolutely no doubt that AV is still the number one priority and the ultimate goal. AG is at best, a vague concept at the moment but IF AND WHEN it has to happen, this is when the consultation will begin in earnest. In the meantime, I doubt that SL will lay out the significant money required to develop the concept (would you?).

We have to wait until October(?) until the hearing and I rather hope that SL has some sort of rabbit to pull out of the hat which will totally floor the anti's but of course if he does, THE LAST THING YOU DO IS GIVE ANY HINT OF IT TO THE OPPOSITION- just saying that the period of silence will most likely continue right up to the hearing because walls have ears and all that, anyone know what 1st rule of the stadium development fight club is...?

All in my opinion of course but I sincerely hope I am right.

As for the rest of it, even back in the days when the fans were close to the club I can't honestly say I remember being involved in the choice of kit or where the club toured but I do agree that we need more decent pre season friendlies at home...

Unless people are being a bit bovine [I doubt that] the club are failing to meet their own aims.

Clubs, including City have votes on kits.

The club have promised consultation at every stage regarding design of a re-developed Ashton Gate. According to those who have contacted the fans parliament the design is at an advanced stage. None of these plans have been revealed to City's wider support. Some may say he who pays the piper ... But this is NOT what Jon Lansdown promised.

Lack of commitment to those that matter again which is the usual sad state of affairs.

I was underwhelmed with David Lloyd on this board to be honest.

The club needs to "walk the walk" not just "talk the talk"

Bristol City fans have chosen their kit via a poll , and way back in the seventies voted to adopt the Robin (1974?).
