I am here to express who I think are the unsung heroes of any football playing squad. It is the goalkeeper. Think about it. When things go well the goalkeeper gets none of the glory but when things go badly, more often or not, the goalkeeper gets criticised. All players make mistakes but when a goalkeeper makes a mistake they are crucified by pundits, fans and media to a greater extent than players of all positions. Who do you think are the biggest unsung heroes of any playing squad bearing in mind we are only talking about players?
