According to the Sentinel, TP is quoted as saying that they have recieved an offer for a Stoke player, but the player wanted to stay and TP didnt want him to go - any ideas? My first thoughts were Pennant but I would have thought TP would have been happy to let him go.
Jerome? He's not getting the full games he needs, and deserves IMO. Crouch? Arry might be sniffing around and did'nt Arry say "I did'nt want to loose Peter if my memory is correct. Other bet would be Pennant.
I think Crouch would have been straight out the door mate, but you might be right on Jerome. I suppose its more down to the enquiring club, if they are from the lower leagues it is more likely to be a straight no from many players. Second thoughts, I wonder if it was Sidibe?
I think Jerome would go, we are not doing him any favours as he gets very little game time, could be Sidibe as you said but he's got to understand he must be right down the pecking order.
Down the pecking order Yes, but because he is a "smashin lad" who "works ard" and as a club "we stand by our players" it wouldnt shock me if we start a prem game with big Sidibe and Walters upfront!
