Family Guy or American Dad? While I originally preferred Family Guy, I must say I now prefer American Dad! Family Guy may have the more random/absurd humour but American Dad has by on large the better characters. In Family Guy, the best characters are Stewie, Brian, Quagmire and (sometimes, Meg). Other characters such as Chris and Lois are a lot weaker. Plus the extended fight sequences are meh. In American Dad, all of the main characters (i.e the Smith family) are pretty good characters and IMO there's no weak ones, and as well as some of the characters outside of the Smith family such as Principle Lewis, and Geoff/Jeff (not sure how it's spelt tbh). I'm going to go with Family Guy, as it's been around a lot longer. But they are both great! You forgot the Cleveland show too. I haven't seen Tim the Bear on that for a while I wonder what's happened?
Family Guy for me, Lapras. Mr Burns and Herbert (the elderly guy with the walking frame !) are a couple of characters.
