And if west ham get sordell for £2m I would consider that a bargain for such a highly rated youngster, especially with the 5-6m prices circulating Maynard and Rodriguez. If that is the sort of money required I think we should be challenging for him, or Rhodes, although I think he will probably either stay or end up going somewhere like fulham / Wigan / Bolton. Thoughts?
if we are serious about getting back to the premiership then we need to start spending. I think 6-8m would be a decent price for a quality striker who will bring something to the club. so we need to go in with a decent offer and play hard ball with these clubs and get the men we want
Watford fan in peace.... A Saints friend told me last night that you guys have offered £5m for Hooper As for Sordell. We do not need to sell and our manager has already said we are in a 'strong negotiating position', so he won't be going for £2m. Double that and maybe he will, if he wants the move. Good luck in your promotion chase. Will be slightly disappointed if you go up as couldn't make it down this season, but if you do go up, will be thoroughly deserved
