The situation at PAFC we are told is a work in progress.....ok I'll go along with that.

I have felt that James Brent has with the best intentions set PAFC on a sure footing and brought in Directors with skills and abilities to help us move forward.

It will take time and I appreciate that.....but he has got one thing totally wrong......and that is perservering with Carl Fletcher.

He has been behind Fletcher and has encouraged him now for over a year.......but he has got to change the manager,Fletcher has not got the knowhow to get us winning games........4 league wins all season is not good enough and if this continues it will undermine all that Brent is trying to achieve and it will all collapse.

Yes... Fletchers time is up, now highly unlikely to get a result at Bradford....in my reckoning he should have gone after 8 games in charge....it's now completely obvious that he cannot control the team and we will soon be in a relegation battle again!!!

Carl Fletcher being interviewed after the match commented "In this division you can just as easily have six wins as six loses,so we'll make sure we're ready to go again at Bradford"

Carl have I missed something here.....I've checked back through your disasterous time in charge and for the life of me cannot find a six game league winning run......in fact the best I can find is two wins on the trot.......and by heavens that hasn't been repeated often has it Carl.......in fact there is far more chance of you doing the six defeats in a row regularly than Argyle keeping a clean sheet anymore.

Giving another soft goal away after only two minutes had you commenting that your "game plan had gone out the window"......having worked hard on it all week with the lads.

With Purse self destructing ( I would like to know what caused that) and now missing three games, defending will become even harder. With Blanchard going through a bad spell of form and also still missing the defensive help of the likes of Wotton (who is still a few weeks away from playing) Tuesdays game against Bradford looks to be a very difficult task, helped by Exeter winning 1-0 there on Saturday, we will be in for some Exeter stick besides the wrath of Argyle fans if we lose again.

Rhys Griffiths again picking up an injury on the training pitch makes you wonder if he is cut out for fulltime pro-football......he certainly didn't miss too many games in the Welsh League....and to be averaging a goal a game suggests that he was always playing.

With Madjo,Gurrieri and MacDonald all on the bench you wonder what Fletchers game plan was....ok we know that MacDonald had buried his Grandmother the day before so that was understandable and good on him to be available anyway. It is just hard to understand what Fletcher is trying to achieve.....he admitted that his game plan had been blown out the window after two minutes.....what was plan B .......to only lose 1-0 then. When Gillingham were chasing the game last week near the end, they had five players on who could be classed as strikers .......and they salvaged a draw when it looked like a defeat was on the cards.....not losing when not playing at your best is a bonus......not winning or even drawing when playing well is a disaster and Argyle seem to be able to do that regularly.

I could literally hear the groans go up when Fletchers team sheet was announced......Feeney & Chadwick starting, what a disaster that is and what does that tell the opposition that we have come with no hope of getting a result. This is against Fleetwood who had their main strikers not available.....this is against Fleetwood who's league experience has reached tha dizzy heights of 18 games.....ours is in it's 126th year........they looked the professionals and we looked the amateurs.

Carl Fletcher has been given far to long to prove what ability he has.....James Brent has been more than patient in his trust that Fletcher can deliver the goods.....many fans have decided that enough is enough and a change of manager is due.......Carl you cannot complain that you haven't been given a good crack of the whip...it's time to move on.

My way of seeing it is.......that the jury have found the defendant guilty,.......and the Judge tells them to go away and reconsider.....they come back with the same result and the Judge says....no.no.no....go away and reconsider....etc etc etc,....the Judge one day will have to agree.....the facts are there for all to see.

Reading on GoS website .....it was mentioned that five years ago PAFC were in tier 2.....and Fleetwood Town were in tier 9.

Five years from now the roles could be reversed.........what is tier 9 for Argyle in the south west ?

If they get to tier nine it will be a miracle.. as i can't see them carrying on if the fall is that far. Brent does not want to part with money now? he will be long gone once he makes his money with the gifts he purchased by buying the club!! Another Mr Toad in the making here

It seems that Rhys Griffiths has had his training modified........he does his own training at the beginning of the week......and later in the week joins in team training.

I don't know where that leaves him when there is a mid-week game.
