    Incredibly depressing.

    They will get the desired 20k fans when they start to try and get us to be like that again.

    Tough one - I personally think it was a tiny minority that questioned Curbs. I do agree however that they were very vocal, calling in to any radio station at that time to talk the rubbish they did.

    I think he addresses it in his book?

    He addresses the reasons he left, and it was nothing whatsoever to do with that. It's total myth which seems to be accepted as fact by more and more people as time goes by. He was very very appreciative of the Charlton fans, particularly the send-off we gave him.

    THey had no bearing at all on Curbs' decision to call it a day. They are irrelevant. I get so fed up with this stuff. If you want to know why he left read his book, he goes over it very clearly. We had the benefit of Curbs' genius and integrity for what 15 years then Murray messed up. WE all know what happened then.
