Today in zionism... Funny how they skip over the IDF killing three hostages while they were there, eh?
A Reform UK candidate claimed the country would be "far better" if it had "taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality" instead of fighting the Nazis in World War Two: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cjmmrwexv4ko Hardly surprising that they've got a few lunatics, really. All parties do. The Reform official response is quite something, though: "His historical perspective of what the UK could have done in the 30s was shared by the vast majority of the British establishment including the BBC of its day, and is probably true." And is probably true. Didn't bank on them being the modern Chamberlain party, but I probably should have. I wonder who they think we should be appeasing now? Hmm.... They're definitely not being backed by that nice man in Moscow, though.
He's still got his linkedin profile up, too: https://uk.linkedin.com/in/ian-gribbin Worked for various foreign companies in Tokyo for 20 years? Sounds like one of those globalists, to me... Also may explain his, er... interesting takes on WWII. Modern Nazis love Japan, for some reason. Very odd. He's somehow managed to be too far-right for the Express and Mail.

2 weeks to go, the PM self-eviscerating on an almost daily basis, his Ministers getting caught out lying and evading just as regularly and the polls still showing a 20+ Labour majority. But...listening to the vox pops I have a growing fear that many of the idiots that bought into Brexit and the 'Red Wall' will ultimately not be putting a X for Labour, but (with the assistance of the Murdoch media) will follow Farage like some sort of malevolent Pied Piper and take the UK down that dystopian XRW hell hole. Not enough to form a Government in their own right, but picking up the remains of the Tory Party they will form an alliance from Hell. Heaven help the UK!
Perhaps the guy is a "lunatic" , but the above is not evidence of it. To have done the above would have been callous (mainland national armies may have suffered far greater losses) , but it perhaps could have bought time for the UK to seriously ramp up military capability ready for the inevitable. So as a historian you would try to quantitatively assess what "far better" would have actually meant.
Well I spent my lunchtime reporting a worrying number of Holocaust deniers on Twitter, knowing full well the automated bots are going to tell me they did not break Twitter's ToS How's your day going?
He's not suggesting it as a tactic to buy time. He's literally saying that Britain should've remained neutral during WWII: "Britain would be in a far better state today had we taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality…. but oh no Britain’s warped mindset values weird notions of international morality rather than looking after its own people." He's also a pro-Putin, anti-woman nutjob.
