Somebody really needs to sit down Mandelson, Nukehurst et al and explain to them, very carefully, that when the Tory vote they're so desperate to appeal to deserts them over the course of their first term they're going to begging for every single Labour voter they spent the past four years telling to **** off to come back

Just when I think I can't be shocked anymore, then the Labour Party accepts an MP as hateful and nasty as any. I despair.

 

'Welcoming' the horrid Elphicke to the Labour Party is a disgrace.
I can see no benefit to the Party whatsoever - only loads of downsides.

Well at least there's competition for Gaza in Labour positions that may derail the General Election chances

The role goes to the Green Party mayoral candidate, Zoe Garbett, who I've never heard of.
Berry returns to Brighton, where she's hoping to get elected as an MP.
Something tells me that this was the plan all along.

 

Even weirder, she's stepping down at the election - so the candidate for her seat at the election is hamstrung before the election is even called because he can't answer the simple question "What's the difference between you and the Tories?"
