I'm sure there's a perfectly valid reason why Richard ****ing Tice is all over the BBC this morning, and that reason has nothing to do with Robbie Gibb slithering back into the current affairs department

Boeing whistleblower Joshua Dean has died suddenly after a short illness.
This follows the news from March when Boeing whistleblower John Barnett died suddenly.
    Hmm...

But BBC and Sky are of course running with 'Sunaks victory in Teeside Mayoral election, despite Houchen basically running as an independent and having his majority cut by such a margin that the Tories would lose the lot in a GE! <doh>

Rumours circulating - notably among Tory client journos - that Sadiq Khans expected victory may not be so certain.

    Dear Londoners
If you were too stupid to either:
    a) not be bothered to vote or
    b) vote for the fascist loon Hall
    c) voted for a no-hoper in a 2 horse race
    then **** you all. :emoticon-0183-swear

Hopefully, this is no more than Tory rumour-mongering, but never underestimate the publica stupidity. <doh>

They were sowing the seeds of "postal vote fraud!" yesterday, hours before the polling booths were closed

They want a January 6th so bad, don't they?

Anyone think that if the GE had happened earlier... BEFORE these council elections, that these results wouldn't have been so bad for the Tory councilors.

I say that because the turnout and non-turnout is imo a definite fck you to the Tory government. Had the Tories been trounced in a GE, then ppl would've given their verdict and been more focused on local issues in council elections.

Well they blew the 'voter fraud' angle by introducing random suitable ID cards that probably cost them as many votes as it did Labour! <doh>

Amusing result in St Mary's ward Oxford where the Greens won with 790 votes and the Tories were fifth with 28

If this were the result, then I'd genuinely consider some sort of fraud.
She was polling terribly and even the Tories weren't taking her seriously.
Add to that the lack of any significant 3rd party candidates and it would make zero sense.
I genuinely couldn't tell you the Lib Dem offering.

The Lib Dem candidate was also second choice for the Assembly election

Not exactly a vote of confidence, that

    Sure they haven't

It's just a coincidence that Sangita Myska disappeared from the airwaves for three weeks after making an Israeli spokesman feel uncomfortable before it was announced she was leaving, LBC claimed her ratings were going down when they had increased month-on-month since she arrived, and she was replaced with Vanessa ****ing Feltz

At the very least this decision to drop Sangita was inept, if only for the timing.
If it was based on ratings then surely they would have posted data - and comparative data with her colleagues - over a defined period to prove their case.
Although as you say, most evidence suggested her ratings were on the up, which is all the more remarkable for a presenter without a regular time slot.

The whole thing stinks to high heaven and the faux outrage by Swarbrick, Fogerty and OBrien, taking snipes at their audience is not going to help matters.

Looks like Kuntsberg has been fed the insider information on the postal votes again, like in 2019! <doh>

This is brilliant, but this isn't satire anymore, is it? Most of this represents what the Tories have actually already done or tried to do in the past 6-8 years! <doh>
