A change of subject, although the theme remains the same.. The Times has been very busy thus week and has also discovered that the Government has U turned on the policy to exclude all Russian athletes from the Olympics.

That’s right: for the sake of hosting a breakdancing event in Stratford, we trashed our principles, strengthened Putin and shafted Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has consistently emphasised the significance of sport as a means of highlighting opposition to Russia’s war of aggression."

Seems like all Tories appear to like being victims of blackmail

If we had proportional representation these % figures would be reflected in the seats won and lost. We don't, so first past the post will muddy the waters. We need the swing-ometer to try to untangle how this would translate at Westminster.
The scary possibility is the Tories/Reform producing an ultra right wing party to compliment the Red Tories who themselves are right of Ted Heath's government.
