The Tories missed a trick by kicking out Mordor. I think she would have made a better candidate for them, as people might be more likely to vote for someone who hasn't been visible for much of the Boris government. The fact that nobody knows much about her would count in her favour. This is also the fact that she hasn't really been in charge of anything, and many people who have worked with her don't have much nice to say. Instead they leave in the Foreign Sec who doesn't seem to know much geography. And she's got a good chance with the tory members, some of who won't want to vote for a "brown" candidate (no offence intended).

The fact she was planning to have Andrea Leadsome as her Chancellor probably did just enough to give potential supporters pause

But, of course, we'll just hear sour grapes about the papers being against her and Sunak sending votes Truss' way...

For all it's benefits to society, modern medicine does have the drawback of keeping people in the gene pool that might other have been "Darwined".

It's like an alternate universe Gary Lineker if something had gone very, very wrong.
Pringles and Walkers is rather obvious, too. Pathetic attempt to appeal to normal people.

With the additional irony that both are ultimately American products: Pringles are ultimately made by Kellogg's (having previously been made by Procter & Gamble), while Walkers have been owned by PepsiCo for over thirty years

Bodger signed off by using an Arnie catchphrase, hinting that he's going to be back.
I assume he hasn't actually seen the film that he says "Hasta La Vista, Baby" in, though.
I'll be quite surprised, yet not remotely disappointed, if he goes on to lower himself into some molten metal.
