    Congratulations, UK Tax Payers!
You've significantly contributed to the ever-increasing wealth of the Sunaks!
(While your hard earned tax payments are increasingly reduced from supporting the most needy in the country.)
You really must be so proud!

Labour never win elections under left wing leaders. I would be entirely happy with a Labour government implementing Corbyn's policies but that is an impossible outcome so anyone who campaigns for it makes it more likely that a very right wing government will be elected instead and is complicit in the damage that that causes.

And why is that? Because the largely, morally bankrupt media won't stand for it and paint any such potential labour government as a crazed danger to the nation and society?

Because in a media vacuum, if people actually took the two ideologies at face value, I'd dare say they would support the principles of the left wing leader above those of a very right wing one. And so that vacuum of course can never be allowed.

Exactly right....but that has to be changed not wished away and it can only be changed if there isn't a Conservative government. So making sure that we don't have a Conservative government is the only priority.

I am of the age when April Fools jokes were about spaghetti growing on trees and dulux developing a tartan paint ,being sent to the Toolshop for a long weight , today I looked on the news for one and all I could find was MPs are getting a £2,200 pay rise on the same day as my heating Bill's rise by £700, waterbill up, car tax up and my Ni is going to rise, Johnson was a bit early with his joke about no parties in No 10 which was strange because I'm sure the Met are prosecuting members of his staff

The trouble is that with nationalists now holding Scotland the chances of a Labour win in England is almost impossible, we have not had a genuine Labour prime minister since Jim Callaghan! Electoral reform is the only way forward first past the post only truly benefits one party and unfortunately they will remain in power until that changes.

    < chairman deedub >

    Simply by :

    1. adding a "none of the above" box on the ballot

    2. making voting compulsory (under pain of a
"use it or lose it" in the next election of the same type)

    3. schoolboy stattery + "lucky dip"

at the very least I can transform "first past the post" to
make the incumbent political parties have to work hard
to win every constitiuency (even their 'brood mare' ones) .

You can't though because to do any of that you have to change the law and you can't do that before winning an election.
In case it wasn't clear from my earlier post....Labour can't win so the ONLY acceptable outcome for a left winger is that the Conservatives don't either. That necessarily means some sort of pre-election pact.

Try to remember this for future exchanges.

"Labour can't win so the ONLY acceptable outcome for a left winger is that the Conservatives don't either."

Labour can win, if there are sufficient supporters in the
non-voters, and actually turned up at the polling station
(which brings us to ...) .

The < chairman deedub > is used to denote what would
come to pass if I was in power with a majority govt.

Try to remember this for future exchanges.

Party gate fines are reportedly £50 , as I recall people got fined £10,000
I was walking my dog on a local common , nearest person was 80yrds away and was approached by 72 police officers who ordered me to leave the common or face a fine
Are they taking the piss again

Having looked closely at all the factors I firmly believe the best chance for reform in England is Scottish Independence. The English electorate would then have a close example of how a truly democratic state actually works.

Labour could win if people who earn less than 35,000 stopped voting Tory and started voting in their own interests. It would also help if we could blow up the Daily Mail and The Daily Express.
