So Rayner has clashed with Starmer over this defection. I thought she looked weirdly at him today. Take note Bob
Absolutely appalled and disgusted that Johnson and his mates in the MSM are willing to use his 6 week old child to try a get some sympathy and deflect from what a **** he truly is……even the most ardent of Tories on here must be ashamed at such an obvious publicity stunt.
The guy has 37 kids every year so I don’t see how he can care about this one any more than the other either.
Blimey. The Chairman of a Westminster Committee (a Tory) has just accused the government of 'blackmailing' its own MPs and recommended the issue be referred to the Met Police! Tory MP accuses No 10 of using blackmail against colleagues threatening Johnson – UK politics live (msn.com) Whatever next?
My take on any MP from any party crossing the Commons floor to join another party shows exactly how lacking in any convictions these ****ers are. The day before he defects he's disagreeing with Labour on everything, now all of a sudden he likes all their policies. He clearly believes in **** all. Also, it appears that the defection has brought to the fore MPs' tribal instincts and have decided to close ranks. Shame, as I want Boris gone.
The simple fact that MPs have to be whipped to vote in line with their party over whats in the best interests of their constituents or country is what is wrong with our system. I mean seriously, who really wants sewage pumped into our rivers and coastline? as just one recent example.
If he is going to stay, there needs to be wholesale changes in No.10 internal discipline. Take it as far from Boris as possible.
I said yesterday that it did one of three things Caused problems in Labour. Which it has with Starmer/Rayner and Momentum. Today they were talking to people in Bury south who don’t trust him. 2. It’s actually united the Tories with sources saying letters are being withdrawn. And Voters are starting to feel for Boris. And just to confirm today 2 Labour MPs said they all want Boris gone because they don’t want to go into an election with him as he ‘cuts through to people and is still very popular’. Something I said yesterday. NowI will collect my gold star on FO.
He did as Mayor of London. But the power from an 82 majority meant he deferred to nobody and is suffering fom his own disciplinary deficiencies now.
Sounds like it! How have we let one single man totally ruin British politics. He is a disgrace to the country and its people.
The problem with our system is that people go into politics now, not as a vocation or for the want of doing good for society, but as a lucrative career. It’s seen as a stepping stone to untold riches and power, and once on that ladder you are generally set for life. After dinner speaking or advisory roles will come knocking at your door
