Sort of makes a mockery of the idea anyone who shares your views is marginalised, don’t you think?

 

I don’t speak perfect English but then I wouldn’t get a job as a reporter…in it.

 

This seems like a very trivial thing to get upset about.

 

Not really mate. We need good speakers on our news channels and not some ‘street talk’ type. I know that presenters get voice and speech coaches to work with them long before they go on air. It’s the standard thing. It seems that now they don’t care who they employ.
