Now it's not often that we agree Spanish......but I do feel that if its ok for the Norwich posters to refer to us a 'Binners' (which personally doesn't bother me...nothin wrong with a hard working refuse collector they must be stuck up city slicker fat cats to find it amusing IMO) they should accept that they will get it back........ The incest thing is not a new/shocking line to go down, I have seen one Stephen Fry refer to the Norfolk pass time on more than one occasion, so it's a widely known and accepted route of humour when talking about Norwich. #SaveOurSpanish from the #OurBoardBrigade.
Just to clarify, (as I was super busy at work yesterday whilst dealing with this situation)... I'm not so sure it's only the sista shagger approach so let's not get hung up on that, just that according to Kev, Spanish has started "giving it the big one again" and I was asked to warn him. I read the thread by Dave on the Norwich board and whilst Dave is allowed to post whatever he likes (mod or not) I don't think he should be over on our board scouting for ammunition. I know that the Norwich mods can say that they are only checking up on their own posters but what goes on on our board is my business, not theirs. Just as we are seen as visitors on their board and need to play by their rules so they should do the same here (and to be honest, we don't have many). I don't go onto the Norwich board looking for reasons to stir trouble and if my lot are causing problems over there then they can expect the punishment deemed fit by the mods of the board. In fact as a board the only drama we see is created from the Norwich board, everything that happens here stays here.

To be honest SD, not quite sure what Ratboy is on about, i am banned from their board so all i have posted is on here, now i did have a dig the other day, asking whats with all this sucking up to this sista shaggers but thats about it and that is on our board, not the bloody Norwich board, tell Ratboy and his little gang of crybabies to keep their little piggy noses out!!
The way I see it is that if I'm a visitor on their board and I read something about Ipswich I don't like that's my problem, I'm not going to run to the mods bitching about it. If I don't want to read derogatory things about my team on a rivals board then I shouldn't visit, I'm a grown man and can make my own decisions. Likewise if somebody is venting on our board about Norwich then the Norwich boys shouldn't start crying about it either, it's their choice to visit us. It seems to me from just reading the one thread aimed at SN23 that there is enough infighting on the Norwich board that should be addressed without copy/pasting stuff from here to fuel the fire. Now I'm really not into having a cross board argument over this, we run a liberal board where people have the freedom to express themselves so long as it doesn't go against the SITE rules. I swear, but that's what the swear filter is for. If you're worried that a kid is reading these pages that is the fault of the parent, not me, and I won't post with that in mind. I have a six year old boy and I monitor what he is allowed to see, I'm not here to parent every child at the end of a keyboard.
I would also just like to say that maybe it's just coincidence, and I'm not blaming anyone, but I have had to deal with more **** on this board since Kev became supermod than I have had to deal with since I stepped into the mod role. Not sure if there's any correlation to be found there but it seems like the Norwich mods take more interest in our board now than they ever did before.
I stuck up for Warky and Guru after their ban ended because I thought they were treated harshly, it has been explained to me that this was a hiccup rather than malicious and as they are free to post now so I have no reason to believe this wasn't the case. Spanish is surely free to post what he likes within reason on the Ippy board without encroachment from outside mods ? There seems to be a clique of posters on the Norwich board but to be fair some just want to post about Norwich and take life quite seriously. They get annoyed when you go off topic or when Warky continually tries to wind them up. Back to the OP , if you guys make the play offs you would expect the "Banter" to go off the chart. I can't remember our two clubs battling for something so Important plus the £130m .
I'd like to think so, and will protect those rights. So long as the site rules are not contravened you can post what you like here, within reason.
My dealings with Resurgam have always been good, I would be very surprised if he tried to ban Spanish. He was just fighting fires and closed the fao 23 thread . I didn't mean to stir up a hornets nest and will try not to create any more work for the mod people. Let's just stick to football it's going to be epic.

Like you said, the banter/bitching will be off the scale and as your lot seem to have a massive sense of humour failure, i can see bans galore!! SD, no bans needed on here mate, we are all big enough and ugly enough (especially weighty) to take whatever is thrown at us!!
I think that if there is something you don't like or someone that in your opinion is going to far or just annoying ....then just ignore them and don't post...we are all grown ups(I presume)....... Also if you don't want to take abuse don't give any.........I've found that after a while on here you can gage which posters you can tease without offending and how far is too far ...most on this board IMO have a decent sense of humour.
