You really do need to have a word with Dave though mate! That thread he has posted on your board is provocative and smacks of washing dirty linen in public!
personally I think both boards would get on fine with each other without his 'im a mod I can do what i want' attitude. I know it might go against the grain and some people might not like it, but thats how I feel after his low down **** ass tactic a few weeks back.
It has to be said that Dave is probably the most disliked Budgie by our board...that is not a good thing to hang around a mods neck!
I agree with Hoppers in as much as Dave is deliberately provocative towards Town posters and then cries foul when we call him up on it.
To be honest Warky, when I think of some of the **** that some of us have posted on their board in the past, the wum posts looking for bites, the piss takes etc, I really don't think that we hold the moral high ground to complain about dave or any other Budgie being 'deliberately provocative to any of us. (I would say that dave's never been deliberately provocative to me, or at least if he has, I was obviously too obtuse to notice it. ) And the fact that he's a mod doesn't matter a jot, as long as he's not being offensive, racist, etc etc etc, he can post what he likes, same as the rest of us... Never thought I'd see the day when some of the' Ipswich Away Crew' on this forum would complain about a Budgie, or any other fan for that matter being provocative towards us. FFS!

You're not wrong gandy, I've chatted to dave by pm on occasion in the past about off topic matters, same as I do with other Budgies and he's always come across a good guy... The anti-dave stuff is getting a bit tedious and unnecessary now.

so welly, do you think its right that dave used knowledge that he got only by being a mod to post on the main board to create and stir even more **** against me, and the when i pm him to voice how pissed off i was about it, i got this reply and i quote. I know you felt the need to post something on here Kev and I understand your point of view. The supermods do a whole lot of stuff behind the scenes to keep this site running cleanly and I for one appreciate it. I just wanted to say that I hope you understand that me and KopR run a relaxed board here and are against playing the headmaster role. We both see bans as an extreme last resort to a problem and we also hope that issues between posters can be sorted out between those involved without us wading in. I truly hope that we don't see too much interference or drama on these pages.
If you want to treat posters like children and exercise your Mod powers to ban someone. A. Give a reason for the ban B. Set the duration of the ban There is no point banning someone for say 14 days, then 17 days later that poster is still banned. If the mods can't figure out how to reverse the ban then explain this at the time . A simple post on Plums thread from any of the Mods saying "don't worry the 2 are technically unbanned now but we can't figure out how to reverse it sorry" . Would have done it . I posted saying " if they are not happy PM the site owner" who probably knows how to use the software . This was classed as "**** stirring" & I was told by Dave in a PM that he suggested that I was to be removed too with a cc to the other 2 mods. In future if banning is used at least stick to your own rules. For the record I think Resurgam and DH do a good job and it is a thankless task. Starting a thread on a seperate board calling me a liar was just a way of exacerbating things and probably an attempt to ban me on his own board. The software excuse sounds like bullshit to me, but If it was the case this was not explained at the time so it looked like the bans were permanent.

No joke guru, apparently if i dont stop the sista shagger thing, then the Rat Boy will get me a site ban!! SD has been grt and is backing me but ultimately its up to the Rat!!
