One thing the Riddler said that I thought was interesting was that he could guarantee that none of the old directors would be involved in the football side of things with the emphasis on football .... does that mean they could be involved in the property side ?

Where is everyone today? Are you all in a state of shock following yesterday's non event. Nobody got any central heating queries? I seem to be the only one in and the barmaid is beginning to shuffle about looking a little uneasy.

Had a little stroll around the Barbican late on this afternoon. Fish and chips fighting off the seagulls. Can't beat it really. Haven't had time to go down there for a while so was a nice change. Not many grockles about though. Must be a recession on or something.

This is not a moan just an observation......

I notice that the happy hour content in the bar was sadly lacking again tonight. Is this because everyone is afraid to miss the chance of a cheep drink and are too busy filling their faces rather than post or is it just because nobody has anything to be happy about? Come on you miserable lot it's bloody summer. No heating bills (if it's working that is, please see joe if not) long evenings and the ladies only wear the bare essentials when out. Sorry and lots of young men wear similar for the ladies. There must be something to smile about.

Moan as much as you like as happy hour is over now. As for the moaning, I think we're all moaned out after last night, what a whitewash that was! Anyway another deadline (for what that's worth) looms on July 4th, independance day no less, could that be an omen.

    sensible, pm sent

I'm here Sensible, we just been for a walk around the Hoe! Not an ice cream man in sight on a nice sunny evening. It was a nice stroll and gave the little one some fresh air. Flaming steps every were and no ramps for the pram. Yes if your heating is not working, just get in touch lol, thanks for the advertising sensible lol, we don't need the work as we are busy enough, its summer also.

You can never have too much work joe, I'll see what I can do for you. I tell you what though. I have been to a lot of places in this World and you would have to go a long way to see a sea front like we have right here on our own doorstep. The view is stunning on a summer's day. Trouble is a lot of people don't appreciate what they have or could have. How is the little chap doing (no not that little chap, I mean the baby).

Sensible its a great view and a lot of people just take no interest, we have plenty of work and keep busy all the time, i don't do to much tho, lol.
It was not that busy on the Hoe or Barbican this evening. Well he is doing ok, he is poorly as you know and its difficult at a young age to know what will happen and how he will develop. But he is surprising us. Its constant 24 hour care at the moment, but worth every minute. The Consultants and other medical staff have no idea of how he will develop, no one can say if he will do things or won't be able to. its a waiting game but we have hope and are doing every thing possible. He smiles and coos so it makes us feel better and he seems happy. Thanks for the concern.

I find it really hard to say anything, Joe. Until the mess is sorted out, my frustration would just get the better of me!
