A comparison of prices across the London clubs shows Fulham in a pretty good light. Well, so long as you don't include the price of a pie - I'm sure there must be a link between their cost and a certain player (not JAR this year !).

I don't know if the other clubs do 'buy before and get a discount' deals. Fulham do, which makes the cost of a season ticket even better value. And when you add the quality of the football .....

As rosc said in the other thread, it will be interesting to see what the prices are a year or so down the line when the new stand is built.

Soe of those figures are astounding. At least we make it reasonably affordable to watch.

Ahh, but our pies are special 'Cottage' pies! Does that excuse it? I'm not sure, they seem to vary in quality between games.

One of the interesting things was that there were about 6 or 7 clubs in the first division where it was more expensive to watch football than Fulham - the price of football is crazy

Personally I think we are good value for money. I pay around £530 for my ticket in the Hammersmith end which works out around £26 a game which I think is pretty good. I think we offer pretty good value for the early rounds of the cup competitions too with tickets around £10 also the kids/mate for a fiver offer that the clubs often runs for the less popular games. This think most of the Europa home games last season were a mixture of £5, £10 and £15 too.

One think I did wonder from the report was how many people go to the game and buy a program, tea and pie? I don’t think I’ve ever bought a tea and pie at the Cottage.

Absolutely. Good Point. Same boat as you TMHAF, never, ever done that and I've been going over 40 years (although hardly every week, but even so...). Never fancied the look of one of the pies TBH. Prefer grabbing a burger before I get in the ground and always have done.

I tend to avoid the food at the ground too but was starving yesterday and had a hotdog... I wouldn’t recommend it though Fulhaman as it wasn’t very nice and cost 4 quid.

The revamped burger place by the cafe in the park is ok. It's a bit steep at £5, but good.

Usually go for the bacon butties from the cafe in Fulham High St. myself. Recommended and only £2.95.

The Club must have been telling the Survey people 'Porky Pies' - I had a look when at the match yesterday and the pies were £4.20 !

I sometimes go for a burger down by the church next to putney bridge, but i never get anything in the cottage itself. i sit in the Johnny haynes' stand and the food is expensive and the service is awful. once missed the first 10 minutes of the second half waiting for my tea.
