I don't understand why nobody's publicly pointed out Ferguson's game. If a ref gives a major decision against Utd, rightly or wrongly and especially at Old Trafford, then he slaughters them and calls into question their ability to run a game. This eliminates them from taking control of Utd games and definitely rules them out of the running for big games in Salford, for at least a few years. He basically picks the refs that he wants this way. The same applies to journalists at his press conferences. Ask a difficult question and you're out.
The same extends to the FA and to football journalists. In other words, Manchester United are the sole dictatorship in Western Europe...
