Happens all the time. Most of those big crystals formed in spaces previously occupied by gas and just trapped the gas inside when they formed. Amazing thing is that the gas is still trapped inside and we can stick a probe in and analyse gas that is millions of years old. Use these a lot in my business for mapping out movement of oil and gas. Here's a bubble of oil trapped when the mineral has formed. I hope you all thought that was both nice and informative.

I Appreciate that Spurlock may not like the fact it is raining . I am sure however he will LIKE the fact it is good for the Grass trees bugs and beetles etc .
