I like the added feature that navigates you to your first unread post on a thread. As always with new software, people complain that it's not as good as the old one and then do the same some years later when that one gets upgraded - it's all about familiarity and we'll all be using it seamlessly in a week or two.
I like it already now. Give it a week or two and I think we will all start to feel the benefits of this new platform! Come on U RRRRss!
Oops, NVM, it works, but you have to float the mouse over the actual header now, instead of somewhere over the whole bar.
I haven't yet looked at the site from a desktop computer, and in fairness the website looks okay on a mobile. My only real beef concerns the apps. They were starting to look a little tired, granted. But why not update them, rather then just getting rid of them completely? Very short sighted move that.

Another thing that will need fixing is the users who are viewing this thread bit. It only ever shows 1 user and 0 guest. I guess that's not really important tbh.
I guess so Kiwi, I have just tested by liking your post and it has just gone up by one. Does this mean the rep threads are redundant as of now. They may seem pointless to some but I found them very useful when starting out on here. I made a few buddies from the rep threads.
evening utrs rep has gone like you said it was pointless but we did get some virtual friends out of it
