Mmmmm? Was he the captain at the blue peril? Want so see some real fire in the belly leadership this season. Anyone any thoughts on pelts as a Mr motivator?

Peltier?! This is not wumming, but i have seen nothing to suggest a leader, quite a quiet lad too (though he did call my housemate a 'pencilhead' on twitter and insulted another housemates shoes).

Odd to me, i think you have better leaders.

The only thing he ever organised at Leicester was a trip to Nandos.

If it's true (it could be a wind-up or Kenny could be back tracking) then we need to remember that there is more than one purpose for a captain. Leaders are going to lead whether they have an arm band on or not, Colin could believe that giving Pelts the captaincy will bring him out of his shell and help him perform to his potential.

Doubt that - Imagine how that would sit with Pelts, his team mate, that he tweeted Pelts was captain as a wind up - Can imagine Pelts would be a bit pissed off with that.

If you have made Pelts captain I have to say I am surprised - I haven't seen anything that would make me think its a good idea - But we may have it all wrong and he might be brilliant after all Colin does know how to get the best out of players

Needs to be a player with a nailed on position... Norris should not start every game, wouldn't like it to be McCormack as would prefer him concentrating on the goals and would be hard to drop him if you needed to freshen things up or if he went through a dry spell. Kenny - Don't like keepers being a captain so it leaves defenders... Drury has been fighting with White for a place so it leaves the other three, Lee's I feel is too young so maybe it will be between Pearce and Peltier

Cant argue with that. But surely Pearce has to be the better option

Also just to add, NW said he saw something different in someone captaincy wise during the shrews game that may have swayed his decision

if he's got a problem with it, Kenny will knock him out. He's feeling a bit aggressive after the 17 lines of coke he just snorted

I dont understand how Warnock came to the decision to appoint Peltier as captain. Last season once Matt Mills lost the armband Peltier wasnt even considered at any point as a candidate to be the captain

Someone who will have an assured place in the team, unlikely to be substituted and on a long contract.
