    Home of the Canaries 1908-1935


    What is The Nest?
    The Nest is a traditional public house set deep in unspoiled rural norfolk, popular with locals and passing trade, it was voted the Third Best Public House in East Anglia by The Good Pub Guide 1998.

    Feel free to call in and enjoy a fine local ale or one of our wines, spirits or whichever other tipple you prefer.

    Guests are reminded not to allow Bob (Pub Dog) to eat the beer mats.

    I saw a program on tv recently, apparently there is only one 'English whisky' and that is produced in Norfolk! Is that the one that you serve in the bar? Great post btw, notice that I've stuck it for you <ok>

    The English Whiskey place is the one is near Wymondham I believe?

    I used to have a friend called Bob, his real name was Alan but we called him Bob because he was a 'Boring Old Bastard' <laugh>

    Is this not the English Whiskey place? The address at the bottom places them in Roudham. Nice work with this PC/CS, very nice, and the drinks don't seem too badly priced either!

    Could we choose a day of the week to be quiz night, and then everyone who wants to do a quiz book a slot in the weeks to come? The OP could be updated to include a list of when quizzes will be on?

    How about providing a "exiled fan's beer of the month"... Singha for Thai Canary, I'll take a Tsing Tsao etc (but please send me a keg of Wherry)
