I'm not sure many would have had Vautour down as the best one of them before Cheltenham though:biggrin:

    For info

"Vautour made all in the JLT to win by an astonishing 15 lengths from smart opposition, despite looking to have a lot left in the locker. His overall time was the fastest in the event’s short history (using Timeform’s times) and included the fastest sectional from three out on the New Course – in any race and at any distance – at any of the last five Cheltenham Festivals. No wonder his rivals could not keep up!"

"Vautour’s overall time is not exceptional, but that sectional remains so."

Don Poli v Vautour in next seasons Gold Cup would be an interesting clash!

Vautour looks like such a speed ball though, that i have my doubts wether he'll stay 3m2 in the Gold Cup.

3m2 at Gold Cup pace tends to blunt the speed of horses like Vautour, I can't help but think he'd be better suited to the Champion Chase.

If I where the owners id of insisted he ran in the Arkle instead of the JLT this year at Cheltenham
