Have to agree. You would hope that players' pride would result in putting themselves about. Players should be hurting when they are getting a hiding dished out to them like against Spurs . My reaction when I used to play was to lash out. Now I'm not advocating that as it is not tolerated in the modern game but I would like to see some sign of it at least, a few robust tackles for example.
