Over the weekend various pundits have been giving their thoughts on SB and the reasons why he's gone. Of course they all say (about EVERY sacked manager) that they were not given enough time etc and they should not have been sacked, blaming (in our case) the fans for turning on SB. What do they know. The interesting part for me was the table they put on screen showing the money spent and the money gained from SB's transfer dealings. In case you missed it SB spent £81million and got £79million back in. A spend of £2million in 5 windows. How can people (like those on sky) keep referring to us as "Big spending Sunderland" when that is completely untrue. A net 'spend' of £2million in two and a half years is remarkably low and half of the championship teams (probably more) will have spent far more than us. I know that there's more to the money out than transfer deals but that should be true for all clubs. The Sky money, gate receipts, marketing etc appear not to have been used (Although I know that they will have been used) and looking at things simply, we should really have a lot of spare money. We are not 'Big spending Sunderland' but we are 'high turnover of players Sunderland'
They only show the bit they want to mate, makes for headlines...they don't want facts to get in the way.
The truth is that the premier league is a media circus full of pundits who deliberately choose to warp a fair reflection of reality into whatever their agenda for the day/season might be. Pundits like Redknapp stating that the Larsson dive was the worst piece of cheating he has ever seen is an example of the warped agenda at its finest. It was a dive for sure, but the worst piece of cheating ever seen? Perhaps he didn't see the handball in the Ireland France playoff? Perhaps he forgets Ronaldo's play acting for Portugal. Perhaps he thinks Suarez is a leading example of a footballer with complete integrity? Maradona spring to mind Jamie? He appears to forget the Wolves player who 'chested' the ball down 'with his right arm' for their 2nd goal yesterday... If I had the time I could raise 500 examples of cheating just as bad and a whole lot worse. These parasites are warping and ruining a game which ought to be played in the spirit of may the best man win. He and most 'pundits' ought to hang their heads in shame, the lot of them.
I seem to recall Redknapp diving 2 yards before the tackle was made to win a penalty for Liverpool. Plus he mustn't have watched Liverpool lately as Suarez good player or not, spends more time diving and screaming for cards than he does on his feet.
Sorry but someone is going to have to go some to beat this one. You don't need to understand the language to know the commentators are laughing and saying what a dickhead.
