Assuming we lose to Chelsea, but not by a cricket score.

    1) Sunderland and Cardiff to draw today so that neither of them goes above us

    2) On Saturday Sunderland to lose away to Man Utd
Cardiff to lose away to Newcastle
Fulham to fail to win at Stoke

    3) The real get down on your knees and pray
Sunderland to fail to win at home to WBA

Then, going into the final set of games we would have 32 points
Fulham 31 or 32 but with a terrible goal difference, even worse than ours
    Cardiff and Sunderland 31

So we would be left requiring a win at home to Arsenal to stay up.

Miracle 4) Arsenal have sewn up Champions League spot #4

Then, if we can't win a home game against a team who have nothing to play for and whose minds will be on the FACup final, we really do not deserve to stay up.

And I think we would also need to learn how to defend a simple ball into the box as well?

Sunderland are 3 0 up against Cardiff and out of the bottom 3, we are toast now people see you in the Championship next year we thoroughly deserve it.

All well and good looking out anxiously for other teams' results - but we still need to do our bit by accumulating the odd point of our own <yikes>
It wasn't happening for CH and it sure as hell is not happening for NA either! :(

Basically we waved the white flag yesterday, I am so disappointed in the way we once again capitulated. I hold my hands up, I honestly thought that Neyul would have them so fired up they would have been busting a gut to get to every ball, I was wrong. I have now finally given up any hope of survival we are dead and buried.

Upon Adams' appointment when McNally was quizzed about his own position by the BBC's Stuart White, he said; "We will NOT go down".
I bet he regrets those words now, also the "Going down would be worse than death" comment which was daft in the extreme and as we all know completely wrong.
