    Eh?

Bruce has played CM twice and the opposition hasn't had a chance. He will play CM against Watford, unless Faye's ****ed.
People keep saying Watford not physical but you still need someone to break up play.
AB Evans and Koren if Quinny out.

I agree, but i expect Faye to not start, chalobah for them is a machine in midfield, as i sad in another thread, bruce has been fantastic at doing his job lately, just have a feeling he wont start in midfield

Bruce is shocking in midfield, Evans breaks up play well, he can actually play a simple pass and sometimes pick out an excellent one, all Bruce does is dither around on the ball, losing all tempo from a counter attack, and then aimlessly hits the ball to no one. And when he does try a simple pass he hits them at 500000 MPH, and more often than not slightly away from who hes passing to, so the reciever has no chance of controlling it comfortably. He is **** and offers absolutely **** all in midfield, stick him in defence where he can actually perform to a decent standard and jobs a good'un.

    End of discussion.

Another quick point on top of that, with a 3 at the back system and only 4 fit centre backs to see the season out, why the ****ing hell would you risk all 4 by playing them all and sticking one in midfield, when there's a plethora of fit and talented midfielders to choose from who are raring to go.

Mindless nepotism and it stinks. It's the only explanation.

It can't be that hard. If quinns fit, I'd stick him in goal and move stocko up to center forward for Watford. He's big and will get on the end of crosses.

Cant be any worse with his head than he is with his hands.

I was in pub watching it yesterday and was arguing with my mate who doesnt rate him at all. Stocko is reliable and doesnt make errors i said!!

Agree with most of that. Fathi in for Meyler should be a no-brainer. He's fit enough, can tackle, and makes the killer pass. Drop Boyd back in the hole...Gedo/Simpson up front. Bruce to CH if Faye isn't ready to go again.

No way Evans should play on the strength of one tackle. He gives away stupid free kicks, usually on the edge of our area, and can't make a decent pass to save his life.

Stockdale scares the heck out of me. Mannone or Schmeichel in the summer please.

I like stocko. He is reliable and other than that mishap last night I can't think of him doing much wrong. Also if he wasn't a footballer he says hell be a white van man, there's enough of those senseless ****s on the road already, so in the interests for the good of man kind, we need him to succeed in a long and healthy goalkeeping career.

And that my friend is a cold hard fact.

We are 4 points clear of third and there are still clowns on here who slate Bruce for picking Bruce. SB must be doing something right to have us in 2nd and AB must be doing something right as he is part of the starting 11 that has us in 2nd. Give them a break ffs...

Sorry for having an opinion. I'll fall in line with the happy clappers if it suits you better.

I'm sure some people on here would still object to any criticism even if Bruce decided to bring Cullen back to play center half and Mark Oxley to play as a loan striker.

All the players we have out seem to be adding to the same problem - who the **** plays in midfield?! Quinn and Meyler are our best midfielders and I reckon they'll both miss out (obviously Meyler will). Bruce has played there but we might need him at CB if Faye can't make it and if we wanted to drop Boyd into midfield we'd need Gedo up front who's also carrying a knock.

The team selection really could be anything. Koren seems to be the only 'definite' midfielder we have for the game.

I don't see how being against someone who can't pass or control a ball in midfield is stupid?? What's going to be the next craze, center backs who can't tackle? Strikers who can't shoot? (Oh wait McLean <laugh>)

We'd may as well just line up with Hobbs Chester and Bruce in midfield.

Square pegs in round holes is never a good thing, specially when that peg is missing key attributes for that role.

IMO Meyler only played @ Udders due to Quinns injury. No way was SB going to go into the Udders game without the pair of them.

We need to have all our ball players starting on tuesday. We are the home team and if we have the ball then i care less about Chalobah and his mates.

The pressure is on Watford - Not Hull City. Simples.

I think Faye will be able to handle tuesday at least. He has had a nice long rest prior to saturday. Lol.

With it now looking that we might be without Meyler, Quinn, Elmo and Boyd wud imagine Gedo will start with Simmo a bit deep behind him ?

Just wundering where Fathi, Cairney, Evans and Bruce will fit in to the jigsaw if all those 4 players are missing.

I'm guessing Rosey for Elmo, maybe Bruce might start if Senior happy with a point or a sneaky 1-0 considering the injuries.
