8 points adrift at the bottom of the table, can that be hauled back?? to be honest i can't see it myself being realistic.Stranger things have happened at sea as the saying goes, but i fear the lifeboats have already hit the water.

It won't wane my passion for my club but it's time to just take it as it comes,no hopes or expectations just carry on regardless been there, seen that, done that with a trailer full of the t-shirts to prove it.If we have enough in the squad to do it why has it not surfaced yet?

A combination of sparky's mundane demeanor and negative tac-tics seems to have turned most of the squad negative which can take more than just a new manager to change as it's a deeply rooted mind set.

Harry is a chirpy character and never holds back his opinions which may well be the catalyst to spark us into life but players like Granero who we all know can do great things need a huge lift to get them going.Cisse gets a lot of stick but he is a goalscorer not a midfield workhorse so i don't expect him to cover every blade of grass.

SWP can be shown the door in January as he gives us nothing except running into blind alley's and giving the ball away.Anton is another one who can go he is just rubbish in my opinion, keeps getting caught standing still then blaming everyone else for the goals.

Hoillet is another who came with a reputation but has delivered little but i think with finding a regular place has the ability to improve.I think we need a commanding centre back to partner Nelsen who has been a revelation this season.

Maybe gamble on a proven striker in January but would they come to us with the position we are in? Maybe harry can do a loan deal or two instead of investing more in big wages and transfer fees.

What ever way you look at it the table doesn't lie and spending big bagain could have the same effect as under Hughes,i don't have the answers but i have some ideas as how to turn it round i.e. formation changes etc but do we risk that or carry on progressing slowly since Harry came?

There lies the problem do you go for broke or keep an even keel in the choppy waters, well that's Harry's job and i wish him all the luck in the world because he is going to need it.

The problem is there are four more games before we can bring any new faces in, and then Chelsea on the 2nd Jan. By then we could be beyond saving. Whatever happens I would bet on Harry getting us straight back up next season, so I'm not gonna pull what little hair I've got left out worrying about things, a fatalistic, but reasoned view...
