    Guys
Can only say what I said earlier this week, Charlie N Zog is 100% the no1 target, we have offered up a part ex plus cash but I did not hear the steed mentioned, richardson was the name. I was told that after the Gibson deal ( Looking at properties) that Charlie talks would be happenning Fri / Sat, and nothing has changed.

Of all the players we have been publicly linked to, N'zog is the one I want.

    Go get him Brucey.

others may not agree but I wouldn't want to see richardson go as part exchange. as much as I want zog, rico is an invaluable squad player. Cash + steed is what id prefer.

We need Richardson more than Steed, so if Richardson is the one does this mean we are finally looking for a left back?

I like Steed, but if it was a choice between him and Richardson,Iwould keep Richardson as he is younger and a bit more versatile.I would however prefer neither went.

Steed is my dad but ricco scored THAT free kick against the scumbags. For that reason alone I would keep ricco. Lose my dad if we must.

Discussion: no he isn't but at least he will try things and try to take on players which some full backs never do - I think in the modern game when plays go down so easily and often that its worth taking opponents on a bit more. I still think that we have yet to see the best of Richardson - I wish that Brucie would decide his best position and that he would stay injury free for a while. I was looking forward to seeing him as our left back but it never seemed to happen. I think next season we should play Bardsley on the Right and Richardson on the Left (we dont really have anybody else at the moment).

I like Steed but we already have a better, quicker and trickier player in Sess. His playing time is going to be limited next season especially if we do bring in N'Zogbia. Richardson is quick plays very well behind the lone striker and looked good at left back until he got his injury, he has loads of energy and can play in a multitude of positions.

If it takes Steed to get N'Zogbia in then it is a no brainer.

Yep, Steed for N'Zogbia is no contest, he would bring so much more to the team. Love Steeds touch and technique but just not enough end product and no goals at all.

I've always been of the opinion that N'zogbia would return to Newcastle, but after the events of the last 24 hours up at SJP I'm not so sure anymore. The midfielder that they have just signed from under the noses of Liverpool turns out to be a left winger, so this new addition coupled with Spiderman leaves no room for yet another left sided player in the Newcastle squad.

As for Richardson or Steed? Richardson brings more to the table than Steed with his versatility and ability to chip in with the odd goal, so if one of them has to go, I would favour Steed.

    N'Zog in and Richardson out?

I may have a spontaneous orgasm.

Definately for me, Steed + cash, or just cash.

Rico is a great squad player- versatile, chips in the odd goal when needed, etc. He's not as good as he could have been/thinks he is, but he's still a perfectly good PL squad player.

We're so short on bodies I'm against any form of part exchange until we get people in. However if anyone was to go, probably Steed for me. I like him, I just think Rico brings more to the table, especially since Steed will be getting on.
