Have a pretty consistent record in pub quizzes - usually do well but rarely win except when I was at Uni. The team I was in won 3 times out of 3, the same team being runners-up on all 3 occasions.

I look forward to a Wednesday evening in Dorset as Mme and me and the two friends that we stay with there make quite a quiz team. We all have areas of interest that are quite different and that seems to help. Last time we won the cash with the very last question, which was, "How much is Tony's bar tab at the moment." Tony was celebrating his wife's 60th and everyone was bought drinks and food. I did a quick count of the number of people, multiplied by £4, then took 10p off per person. Amazingly this was only 60p out and was the closest.

Tony went very pale as there were 48 people there. ;)

    What a trial I have just experienced.<yikes>

Knowing now that I will make the Palace game, I thought I would get the tickets through the on-line service, only to find that they are not on sale yet. I thought however that I would create an account so that when they are available I would get in quick in case it is a sell out. <laugh>

I actually have a fan ID number so should be easy thinks I. No, in fact it kept coming up with all sorts of useless information asking me to do this, then that, but finally I cracked the system and it now knows me and my password.

Knowing that there is nothing more that I can do I log out, only to be told that I am in a queue and will have to wait to buy my tickets. <doh>

Oh dear, technology is fine when it works, but................. I am sure you know the rest.

How is your technology problem panning out BHD? Have you come to a decision on your ordinator?

BHD the pictures open up if you click on them. When I loaded them they were all 400kb except the first which is 1.24Mb. If you can tell me how to add them to the posts in a larger file size I am happy to learn.

The only way i know how to do it (it may not be the right way) is to click the right button on the mouse and copy URL then click the tree picture above the post box and copy the link in.
