I am sorry to hear of your manager's mother's problems, I hope her doctors have found out early enough to make a cure.

The situation is very strange the embassy in Oslo cannot help and you have to talk to the office in Germany. What happens if you had to go to Germany to solve this problem personally? I visited the internet and there will be some help for you at http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/agencies-public-bodies/ips/passports/ and when Frú Norway does get back to England there is a passport office in London at Globe House, 36 Ecclestone Square.

 

Norway - When I went to visit my nephew in Abu Dhabi at Easter, he told me the same and you have to use the courier service they have approved to send your documents and they charge more than double that another courier would charge. Only this country would put such a vital service into another country...

Cheers all! thanks for the assistance! , staying put at the moment ,have done a couple of hours this morning ,back at hotel now will go to work at 1pm till late ! so may catch up with Dan and H in the small hours! Staying at Bergen till Mrs N comes up with a solution for her travel woes , then I will have to go home and look after the mutts whilst Mrs N goes to Nottingham ! and hopefully she will be back before I am due to go to southampton! Things is getting mildly stressy!

I love working for a company with a pyramid structure for management where I am at the bottom and the managers above me spread out really well. What is worse is the all manage one job which is the most important and none can understand why you do not do their work first. And when you do not you are not a team player.
