It sure is, even at grass roots. I used to play on a saturday but never got picked for the team because my mum did not know the coach or anyone. It was a real old boys club! Even when i scored 2 hat-tricks in 2 games they ignored me. It only gets worse as you grow.

yep, he did finally get into the first team regularly..and did really well for them..but then gave up for his studies. He now plays 5-a-side and seems to love it :)

well at least he has kept it up. I dont play anymore. Except once in a blue moon with my dad at his local 5-a-side kick about. Its just him and 5-10 mates. Its fun though

EEEKK. Not the sort of thing which helps the team lol. It would not surprise me if there were those sorts of dealings with the local team.

Night night H, sweet dreams. See you tomorrow.

Morning All, Anyone about? No, I didn't think there would be.

Off to Tours today, Mme has seen something on the Internet that we cannot live without. Already my credit card is showing early signs of fear. :(

At least driving will give the back a rest after my exertions yesterday and there will be another excuse to sample some local dishes. ;)

Have a good day whatever you may be getting up to. <ok>

If Rinaldi had been good enough and he'd been able to settle down and be reliable, he would have been a success IMO. The fact he didn't and has disappeared means there was something missing IMO.

Good morning folks BTW, I didn't get enough sleep last night as I considered the game last night. Somehow I took the game "quite lightly" - I wasn't too concerned about too much, but I was looking for the largely 2nd string team to give me belief.

This morning I have come to the conclusion that Dyche's budget is just about empty - why else would he be looking at Tom James and Gavin Mahon? He certainly does not have any better options, even the most ardent "trust in Baz" people have got to admit that. 2 weeks after the hive of transfer activity, its all gone quiet.

A little birdie has told me Iain Moody - Watford's "Director of Operations" left the club yesterday to go down the M4 to Cardiff FC. The "hero of the Al Bangura" campaign has flown the nest.

Have a good one, and I hope your credit card doesn't take too bad a hammering. I'm on leave for a week, but I'll be painting the toilet today! (Well not actually the toilet, the walls, the ceiling, the skirting board and the door).
