I wonder if when they have to pay the full whack, like my son will next year, the grade boundaries might go down because less people will be applying. We live in hope. Most courses need 3 x A these days, it's a tough call!

Psychology is my area ( of sheep of course ;) )

That is why I was quite interested in Aidy's way of working as he had done all the modern psychological methods of coaching... one of the guys i work with used to play with him.. mind you he was found out big time in the end eh....

Morning Yorkie, weather as normal here. The grape harvest is looking good.

Did you have to spoil my morning by mentioning French classes? I am now onto listening to books being read, designed for nine year olds. :(

Last week I thought I was confused until I grasped that the storyteller was talking about a prince and not a loaf of bread. <yikes>

Yep, he was, but psychology is very 'in' these days. My daughter wants to be a child psychologist...and a lot of my friends' kids are studying psychology in various universities. He wants to go into advertising (at the moment) so he thinks it could come in useful.

we think applications for the non-vocational course go down.... there is a lot of rationalising happening at my place already to prepare I am sure for a lean era ahead. As I said elsewhere at my level the univ has reduced 39 posts to 12 .... and at my (mature) age I have decided to move into the long grass so to speak and to work out the next two years and then take retirement..

:) that's the kind of thing she's very interested in. She's only 15 but it's been in her mind to do it since she was 11. I'm guessing, knowing her, she'll do it, grades permitting.

    Enjoy breakfast! :)

I do not worry that the Nest will take over not606. This is just a lot of reading. Driving tests and supermarkets weather everywhere mmes hair and sheep psychology. All very interesting. I do not think there is anywhere like the Hornet's Nest. :smiley-finger007:
