Yorkie, not to sure which Uni:( as for Language, I believe French as part of the course involves living and working in France! That sounds terrible but my dear daughter lives with my ex! She needs to improve on her Maths to ensure she gets the minimum grades to get in! She is currently undertaking her final exams and she leaves school in the next couple of weeks! Makes me feel old<yikes>

my brother did languages at Birmingham all those years ago. Master H loved Leeds, though at the mo he has nothing to compare it to. He's looking at studying Economics with something, possibly Chinese.

I also am quite familiar with Leeds Uni as my eldest went there. He enjoyed his life up there, and still lives there after his degree.

I actually found a pub once in the city centre with pints of Hooky. Something to be said for it after all. ;)

My daughter wants to get into journalism, well that was last month:) She believes doing the language side of thing will help her go down that route! She really rates Leeds, mind you all her Uni choices are up North again it all depends on how she performs in these exams!

Oldest daughter is going into third year doing spanish and this one is her year away. I can see some intersting travel scenarios on the horizon as shes not the most pro active organiser but its all part of the learning
