I tried to change my name back to akureyri today as the 21 day limit is now over. I could not as the database says there is another user called akureyri. I will make another try later.

 

Morning all, Thanks for the coffee ak.

We had a little rain overnight which helps me, but no where near enough to help things out on a larger scale. About 20 miles away we have a water cooled nuclear reactor that draws the water from the river Vienne. Over the last three months water flows have fallen by 30% and there is talk of putting the station into stand by mode. Seeing as the heat generated is recycled to the Planet de Crocodiles and a swimming pool complex I am not sure what will be happening.

Should be possible to go to old name surely! That was possible on the old site!

 

You would think so - but this is not BBC so may not have set it up so that an old name becomes "available" again - can't believe anyone else other than Our Akureyri would take that name

Hampshire, know how you feel re exam as I've got one on Monday morning. Problem is, I'm on a day study leave from work and it's not easy to study audit when it's a glorious day outside.

 

I did send an email and will look for a replay later.
