evening w-y...i have to admit, my grub wasn't too shabby either! ...though i like the sound of yours!

 

Morning even H - What did you knock up? Salt beef & pickles...?

 

lol funny you should mention it...but yep! Not what i'd usually do on a Friday but we had guests..so...smoked salmon and avocado, salt beef and pickles with latkas and peas, and bread pudding ...great for the diet! lol

 

Bread Pudding?- how would you make that?

When i was a nipper, my old mum made it. It was all the old stale bread and she used to soak it in water and then add curents and spices and loads of sugar and bake it. Closest that comes to it is the Italian Bakers in Vic Road - it's as close to me old mums that you could wamt for!

SLB! Great to see you ...good on you for taking a well earned break!

The plates are shot to pieces, last week i suffered hideous cramp and this week i have a pain in my hip/back that won't go away..i'm a walking wreck, but i'm walking! lol. 3 weeks to go!

 

Fingers crossed. I'll be sponsrin you but Mrs SLB's in charge of finances (well not completely, I am allowed pocket money ) and I fink we're getting last bit of grant soon.

SLB - Great to see you back and I hope bandit country is not taking too much of a toll. Stick with it mate, just a bit more to get through!

I am going to change my profile as quickly as I can imagine new themes - and for an old corporate git like me that is not easy! They will probably get very obscure and only the old and mad will get them...but I am so happy that someone has appreciated them!
