    There was a good April Fool in the Jersey Evening Post about the Royal Wedding - asking for doubles for the rehersal.

    Anyone else try to get tickets for the Olympics? My eldest does kayaking, so I've applied for tickets to see that at the Lea Valley Water Park. It's not mentioned as one of the sold-out events, so I'm quietly confident that we'll be going.

    Evening all.

    Spent the day at the Rose Bowl watching Marcus Trescothick make 193 not out. Still a class act...and amiable and modest with it. Would still walk into the England team.

    Bloody 'ell - fault traced to burnt out tracks on a PCB that controlled the fan oven - soldering iron out and some wires soldered across and all working. Bloody lucky - would have been a fate worse than death from Mrs W_Y if I had not fixed it.
    Right now time to cook some dinner and have a few View attachment 2447

    See Middlesex are beating their local rivals at home - hopefully it's an omen for Saturday.

    Norway, if you're referring to Olympic tickets, those of us in the British Isles won't know for sure until between mid-May and mid-June once the ballot for them has taken place - don't know what the situation is for other countries.

    That's exciting! We went for kayak tickets, that will hopefully be one lot we get! i hope we don't get everything we applied for, i don't know how we'd pay for it! lol...bang goes the holiday if we do ;)
