Hi Sandy - long time no hear - hope you are keeping well

I would say that I do not exercise but jobs such as rebuilding a falling apart shed are plenty enough for me - have finally removed the unwanted bits - now to repair rotten timbers and then reconstruct - and it is very hot out there!!

Right - shed is now half the size it was - one end and two half sides and roof remaining - the other end -with the door has undergone extensive replacement of boards and is now ready to go back up. FFloor is next task - a few of the remaining half's floor boards need cutting out and replacing - together with the rotten timbers at the bottom of on e side. Then a new lot of roofing felt.

Hard job but satisfying - shame really as it was once a superb shed but our predecessors left it to rack and ruin - even at half the size it is still 4 metres by 2

I am begining to feel that I should have installed a larger shed myself, but if I had gone for a larger one would have needed a permit.

I have decided that once the mayor has spotted it, if he ever does, then I can start tacking bits on. The first thing would be to add a leanto to house the generator. Then there would be the wood store leanto, followed by the TV room. ;)

Frenchie, I love the idea of a shed with a TV room...just needs bar, home cinema and snooker room and we'd all be ready to move in.

If you are all moving in then I will have to consider something much larger. Better get the drawing board out again.

By the way there is no loo. :emoticon-0104-surpr

When we first started to look at property out here, the agent took us to view one that had no visible facilities of that type. When I asked what they used her eyes led me to the cowshed. <yikes>

My daughter who used to have a caravan suggested that a porta potty was the thing I needed.

Have you ever seen the size of one?

I have seen larger spitoons. ;)

Frenchie, use a composting loo. You can then recycle and help the garden (though I have difficulty with the thought of using the compost on food plants). I know someone who designs and makes them, if you are interested.
